Youngcare’s '10 Peaks Challenge' is an extraordinary charitable adventure challenge that recruits passionate hikers to embark on a life-changing journey in support of young people with physical disabilities.
Over four remarkable days, amidst the breathtaking scenery of Kosciuszko National Park and the awe-inspiring glacial lakes of Australia's mainland, brave Youngcare supporters undertake a formidable challenge. They conquer a demanding 60km hike, scaling the top 10 peaks in Australia. This rugged and isolated environment, with its unforgiving conditions and limited personal choices, serves as a poignant reminder of the daily struggles faced by young people with high physical support needs.
I had the pleasure of creating the brand identity for the adventure challenge, crafting a visual identity that would resonate across digital and traditional marketing channels. The logo harmoniously combines elements of traditional typography found in U.S. National Park posters with distinctive features from Kosciuszko National Park itself: a silhouette of the Kosciuszko mountain ridge and a cool color palette inspired by the raw beauty of the region's harsh winters.
